| I hope you ladies all saw Kane on the Abba Mania show last night.
I loved his performance with Sylvie, she is a fantastic singer, who does not get enough recognition in this country. I wish she had a cd out, I would definitely buy it.
And they sang my most favorite Abba song ever- Chiquitita.
Absolutely amazing. | |

| Will do, I am going on the 11th November performance. It has been ages since I have gone to even see the MSO playing, having Kane perform as well, was the kickstart I needed to see them again. I love orchestras as well, as you may well gather. | |

| Kane, you have a wonderful gift, Just saw your performance with the MSO this afternoon
Dear Kane,
I have just come out of Hamer Hall and I just wanted to say how exquisite your voice is. The choice of songs was magnificent. I particularly loved the song from "Brigadoon", I have not heard it in ages.
It was magnificent to be able to see you perform again, the last time I saw you, was when you supported Il Divo at Hamer Hall.
I really hope you get to read this message sometime.
Yvonne xx
Now I shall post for everyone what the programme was.
Kane performed in the first half
"Luck Be A Lady" (from Guys and Dolls) "Something's Coming" (from West Side Story) "There But For You Go I (from Brigadoon)- this one was breathtakingly beautiful.
Message to Kane- Can you please record the above song sometime on Cd?
"Anthem" (from Chess)
Before Kane came on and after he finished in the first half- the MSO played Symphonies.
Then came interval for the usual 20 minutes.
Then Kane returned to the stage singing "Johanna" (from Sweeney Todd) "Out There" (from The Hunchback of Notre Dame) " If I Can't Love Her" (Beauty and The Beast)
Kane got heaps of thunderous applause as did the MSO and both he and the conductor were presented with red roses.
the symphonies I mentioned above were firstly from Gould "American Symphonette No 2 and West Side Story- Symphonic Dances- first half.
then second half it was "Porgy and Bess"- A Symphonic Picture for Orchestra.
They ended the afternoon with an overture from "Gypsy".
Absolutely gorgeous the whole afternoon.
I posted this over in Kane's forum also for the members to read. | |
